Terms and Conditions for Teamwork Dog Training Services

Welcome to Teamwork Dog Training (“we,” “us,” or “our”). By enrolling in our dog training services, you, the client, agree to the following terms and conditions. Please read them carefully before participating in any training sessions.
1. Services
We provide professional dog training services, including but not limited to:

Group lessons
-
Private one to one lessons
-
Puppy training
-
Dog walking
All services are delivered by a qualified trainer using humane, reward-based training methods.
2. Client Responsibilities
You agree to:

Accepting full responsibility for the safety and well being of your dog, and being held accountable for any injuries caused by your dog to other animals and attendees. As well as any damage to properties.

Making sure your dog is on lead at all times unless otherwise instructor by the trainer.

Ensure your dog is in good health and up to date on vaccinations.

Inform us of any behavioural issues, medical conditions, or special needs.

The use of physical force and punishment oriented training is NOT accepted at any Team work dog training service.

The following equipment is NOT permitted at any Team work dog training service; chocker chains, prong collars, electronic collars, citronella sprays, any piece of equipment that causes pain, discomfort and fear to your dog. Any equipment/method that is deemed unacceptable by Team work dog training will be asked to be removed and replaced, with kind, more effective methods. Failure to comply will result in immediate determination of training services with no refund.

Arriving on time for all training service sessions booked. Arriving late by you may result in a shorter session to accommodate other bookings for Team work dog training

If children are attending, they must be under supervision of a responsible adult. Team work dog training reserves the right to deny entry of children who are too disruptive, and/or cause other dogs and clients pain, stress or discomfort.

The client gives us permission to enter their property to carry out the booked service at the arranged date and time.

Dog must be in a secure location prior to collection. Loose in a garden does not constitute this

All dogs must be provided with a pain free collar/well fitted harness and lead. Team work dog training is not held liable for any injury or any damage caused by the client's dog escaping due to incorrect fitting or faulty collar/harness and/or lead. Teamwork Dog Training reserve the right to change equipment if it is deemed necessary for the dog’s health and well being.

Booking confirmation will only be confirmed once there has been a consultation with the owner, and all relevant paperwork has been filled out and obtained. Owners must disclose any medical requirements and needs for their dog, as well as disclosing any behavioural issues towards other dogs, humans and other animals.

We reserve the right to refuse or discontinue walks for any dog who we deem unsuitable, this can be based on social skills, behavioural reasons and/or medical grounds. We will inform the owner the reasons why we deem continuing with the walks, not the best option for their dog going forward.

The client must provide an emergency contact, stating their name and contact details. The client is aware that the emergency contacts decisions might be enforced if it’s of the best interest of the owners dog, and will be contacted in an emergency if we cannot get hold of the client. The client must also provide current, up to date registered vet details, as in an emergency we reserve the right to take the clients dog to the vets if we deem necessary.

Walks are carried out in different locations, the client understands that this comes with different environmental risks. Your dog will be walked in a maximum group of 6, you as the client also understand and agree to this.

Unless under unforeseen circumstances, walks will be the total time of the booking. This does not include picking up and dropping off, the time the client pays for will be the total time their dog is out the van.

In different weather conditions, I reserve the right to adapt the length, time and location of the walk to best suit the clients dog, the clients will be informed of any changes.

Clients agreeing to these terms must confirm their dog is fully vaccinated (kennel cough optional, but recommended) and have regular flea and working control treatment. Clients must inform Teamwork Dog Training if their dog contracts any infectious condition. Any dog with an infectious condition will not be able to participate in any Teamwork Dog Training services, until cleared by their vet.

If any personal information changes, i.e. home address, phone number, email address, emergency contact details etc. It is the clients responsibility to notify Teamwork Dog Training of any changes at their earliest convenience. These changes will be record to keep the most up to date information.

Teamwork Dog Training will provide a booking time for your chosen service, you understand that unforeseen circumstances may cause delays to your service. If a delay does occur, you will be notified in real time.

Myself and the vehicle used for the transportation of animals is insured. You, the client, understand and have given permission for the transportation of your animal.

You must make Teamwork Dog Training aware if your dog is required to wear a muzzle and a muzzle must be supplied

3. Fees and Payments

Your booking is not confirmed until full payment for the desired training service is sent and then received by Teamwork Dog Training. All fees must be paid in full before the first training session or walk, unless otherwise agreed in writing, failure to pay may result in your training service being canceled, or your spot in the class/course/walk to be taken by another client who has paid in full before you.

Accepted payment methods: cash, bank transfer, PayPal.

Prices are subject to change without notice but will not affect existing confirmed bookings.
4. Cancellations and Refunds

Group class sessions: No refunds are provided after the first class on any group class based training service. Clients are entitled to a 50% refund if cancellation occurs up to 5 days of the start of the group class course booked. Cancellations within 5 days of the course start date are entitled to no refund.

One to one private Sessions/packages: Clients are entitled to a 50% refund if canceled up to 5 days of their chosen training service, there will be no refund given to clients if they cancel within a 5 day period of their chosen training service.

Any walks that are cancelled by you, the client, within 48 hours prior to the scheduled time will still be charged at full rate.

Cancellation due to a lack of vaccination or a lack of proof of fully up to date vaccinations for your dog, will result in no refund. Unless, Team work dog training is notified up to 14 days prior to the training service start date.

Missed sessions without notice will not be rescheduled or refunded. Including no partial refunds for any missed lessons, scheduled or not.

If a training service is cancelled due to extreme circumstances beyond Teamwork Dog Training’s control, including adverse weather conditions, natural disasters, or other acts of nature. We shall not be liable for any failure or delay in fulfilling our obligations. An alternative date, where necessary, will be made to accommodate the booking. Or, it will be completed online.

Rescheduling an already booked training service, within 5 days of a training service start date, to a different start date or course, will result in a 50% refund. Any rescheduling up to 5 days before the start date of a booked course will be rescheduled free of charge.

Refunds, if granted, are at the sole discretion of Team work dog training.

5. Health and Safety

Dogs must have all core UK vaccinations up to date, those that help fight against; parvovirus, distemper, hepatitis and leptospirosis. Kennel cough not included although recommended.

Clients must disclose prior to any training, if their dog is aggressive in the presence of other dogs and/or humans. Failure to disclose will result in immediate termination of services.

Team work dog training reserve the right to remove any dog or client from training if behaviour poses a risk to others, and/or is deemed too disruptive.

Keys retained by myself will be kept safely, and must be clearly labeled with the name of your dog, unless you decide and instruct me on where you would like your key to be kept, and understand you are then liable for whatever happens to the key.
6. Liability Waiver

You acknowledge that dog training and dog walking involves inherent risks. By participating/booking you agree that:

You accept all responsibility for any injury or damage caused by your dog.

Teamwork Dog Training shall not be held liable for any loss, injury, or damage to persons, property, or animals arising from training sessions/dog walks

You release and hold harmless Teamwork Dog Training from all claims, actions, and liabilities related to the services provided.

Whilst every effort is taken to reduce accidents, you, the client, understand that injuries can occur during play. Teamwork Dog Training minimises this risk by specifically matching up dogs by their personalities and sizes, if an injury were too occur, you the client accept you are liable for any vet bills as a result of the injury.

7. Results Disclaimer

While we strive for the best outcomes, results depend on many factors including your dog’s temperament, history, and your consistency in applying training techniques. Therefore, no guarantees are made regarding specific results or behaviour changes.
8. Photography and Media

You consent to Teamwork Dog Training taking photographs and/or videos during training sessions for educational or promotional use (e.g., website, social media, marketing), unless you opt out in writing.
9. Privacy Policy

We respect your privacy and will not share your personal information with third parties, except as required by law or for essential business operations (e.g., payment processing).
10. Legal Obligation

As the client, you are responsible to ensure all legal obligations concerning your dog are met. This involves adhering to several key requirements such as;

Dogs under the training service of Team work dog training must be microchipped with up to date details. And should display the required legal identification on a dog tag.

As the client, you are responsible for ensuring any breed specific legislation, compliance with BSL restrictions is met and informed with Team work dog training. The correct equipment and measures must be in place for any training service to begin.

If allowing a member of Team work dog training into your property, you must have the legal authority to grant access.

11. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United Kingdom
12. Acceptance

By booking or participating in any training services with Teamwork dog training, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms and Conditions.
